Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality (VR) is a computer-generated simulation or immersive experience that allows users to interact with a three-dimensional, artificial environment, typically using a headset or goggles and often accompanied by motion-tracking technology for a sense of presence and immersion.

In the bootcamp, we provide an introduction to the application of virtual reality in the higher education classroom. A stand-alone VR headset will be provided for your use and exploration. You will be introduced to the different technologies comprising Extended Reality, delve into virtual worlds and social VR, and explore together different methods of incorporating VR in the classroom.
